This Cucumber + Cilantro Margarita is light, refreshing, and delightfully boozy. We love a margarita in all forms. Though traditional margaritas are a classic, we love a good twist every now and then. Plus, with cucumber, cilantro, and limes, this margarita is basically a salad ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is a perfect recipe for those of us who love margaritas with salt. This recipe goes quite light on the sugar (in this case, simple syrup) when compared to other margaritas, but it is definitely not too salty, because the blended cucumber adds a bit of sweetness on its own.
This is an impressive cocktail without the need for any fancy bar skills. There is no need for a cocktail shaker – this Cucumber + Cilantro Margarita recipe calls for a blender to puree the cucumber and cilantro, and to mix all the ingredients together.
This recipe will make 4 servings that can be poured over ice. The recipe is written for margaritas on the rocks, though if you love frozen margaritas, it can very easily be adapted if you choose to add ice into the blender!
This recipe makes four servings, but you can easily half or double the recipe using these ratios:
- 1 part simple syrup
- 3 parts water
- 4 parts lime juice
- 8 parts tequila
- Cucumbers and cilantro
Serve at your next gathering, family (and chosen family) dinner, or whenever you need a little bit of a summer feeling.
